2007 Dana Cup U-14 Girls Champions

In our most memorable season ever, we traveled to the other side of the globe to play international soccer in Germany and Denmark. The Dana Cup Soccer Tournament held in July in Hjørring, Denmark, drew over 850 teams from 40 countries. Competing in the U-14 Girls division, we finished undefeated, with no goals allowed, and were crowned the
2007 U-14 Girls Champions.

In Germany, we were home-stayed by warm, welcoming families in the small towns of Goldberg and Dobbertin, and in Denmark, hosted in Dana Cup Town. We brought our Hawaiian hula to these towns of Germany and Denmark, and were welcomed with warm, generous hospitality in return. In Denmark, we were one of only two teams recognized by the Mayor of Hjørring in City Hall and given the honor of lighting the torch kicking off the Dana Cup games. We are featured on YouTube, and extensively in photos on the Dana Cup website (www.danacup.dk). We were interviewed live on Danish national television, and featured in the local papers in Germany and Denmark. Back home, we were honored by the Mayors of Honolulu and the Big Island of Hawaii, and by the local newspapers.

We are PROUD to have represented Hawaii, the U.S.A., and our club in this multi-cultural, educational, unforgettable experience overseas.

Highlights of our Past Seasons

During the 2005-2006 season, we proudly represented Hawaii
at the USYSA Far West Regionals in the inaugural U-12 Girls 8v8 Division.
Defeating all opponents, we became the first-ever U-12 Girls 8v8 Region IV Champions.

2006 US Youth Soccer Region IV U-12 Girls 8v8 Champions

During league play, we went undefeated in the Hawaii U-12 Girls Premier division
and were crowned HYSA U-12 Girls Premier League Champions.
We went on to win the 2006 HYSA Hawaii State Championship
in the U-12 Girls Premier division, and were the Champions in the
2006 Hawaii International Cup, playing up in the U-13 Girls Division.
