5/13/11 - Punahou’s Scott Granger and Caprice Dydasco of Kamehameha were named
the Gatorade soccer players of the year for Hawaii. Granger, a senior midfielder
for the state champion Buffanblu, scored eight goals with eight assists. The
Star-Advertiser’s state player of the year will be attending Creighton. Dydasco,
a senior forward, scored 15 goals with 11 assists in helping the Warriors to the
state semifinals. The member of the U18 Women’s National Team has signed to play
at UCLA.
